Jolo Revilla And Angelica Alita Welcome Daughter Lauren Angela
Actor and Cavite representative Jolo Revilla and his wife, beauty queen Angelica Alita shared photos of their daughter who was born in the US.
Cavite representative Jolo Revilla and his wife, former beauty queen Angelica Alita introduced their daughter Lauren Angela to their followers in a series of photos. Lauren Angela was born last January 30 in Los Angeles, USA.
A high-risk pregnancy
In a video, Jolo was seen taking Angelica to the hospital last January 30 at around 1:50, US time. The couple shared that Angelica had a high-risk pregnancy but was immediately taken care of.
“Si Angel ay nakaranas ng high-risk pregnancy. Sa panahon na kami ay regular na nagpapa-check-up, napag-alaman na mayroon siyang circumvallate placenta, ito ay i abnormalididad sa placenta na siyang bumabalot sa sanggol habang siya ay nasa sinapupunan na nagdulot ng mataas na e chance of complications tulad ng preterm delivery at placental abruption, at ayon sa mga eksperto maaaring ikamatay ng saggol sa loob o kakailanganin ng emergency cesarean kapag siya ay ipapanganak na.“
[Translation: Angel experienced a high-risk pregnancy. During the time when we’d have regular checkups, we found out that she had a circumvallate placenta. It’s an abnormality in the placenta, wherein it’s wrapped around the baby while it is in the womb. This can mean a higher chance of complications, like pre-term delivery and placental abruption and according to experts, the baby could die inside the womb, or need an emergency cesarean when it’s time to give birth.]
“Sa awa ng Diyos ay naisilang ng full term ang aming anak. Malusog at walang komplikasyon. Yun nga lang, ang aking maybahay na si Angel ay nagkaroon ng komplikasyon na nagdulot ng walang tigil na pagdugo na kinailangan pang salinan siya ng dugo matapos niyang ipanganak si Baby LA,” he added.
“Walang pagsidlan ang aking takot at kaba at pakiramdam ko ay iiwan na kami ng aking asawa. Pero mahal kami ng Diyos, miraglong nalagpasan namin ang paghihirap ni Angel, nilabanan niya din ang kanyang kalagayan at ngayon ilang araw na ang nakalipas siya ay patuloy nang nagpapalakas.“
[Translation: Thanks to the mercy of God, our child was delivered full-term. She is healthy and without complications. However, my wife Angel experienced complications that resulted in excessive bleeding, wherein she needed transfusions after giving birth to Baby LA.
I was worried and scared and I felt that my wife was going to leave us. But God loved us, and it was a miracle that we overcame these trying times with Angel. She was strong and she fought hard and now, she has been recovering.]
Despite the challenge, the couple thanked everyone for their prayers as Angelica recovered from the hospital. They also shared a sweet message for their daughter, saying they would take care of her.
Update from the US
In a separate post, Jolo thanked the doctors led by Dr. Steve Rad for caring for his wife and daughter in their most challenging moment in the hospital.
“Grateful beyond words for the incredible skill and dedication of Dr. Steve Rad. His expertise and care made all the difference in saving my wife’s life. Thank you, Dr. Rad. We are blessed beyond measure.”
Jolo also shared some photos of Angelica and their daughter. In one photo with his daughter, he wrote: “My little princess.”
In another photo, Angelica wrote: “Grateful for the gift of life.”
It was in August of last year that Jolo and Angelica announced they were expecting a baby girl. This is the second for Jolo who has a son from a previous relationship. Congrats to Angelica and Jolo! Hello, Lauren Angela!
