netflix k-drama start-up

Join Seo Dal-mi (Bae Suzy) and Nam Do-san (Nam Joo-hyuk) as they try to climb the corporate ladder and achieve their dreams at a place called Sand Box, a start-up reminiscent of many Silicon Valley businesses. Seo Dal-mi dreams of becoming the next Steve Jobs while former kid Math-whiz Nam Do-san is the founder of a struggling company. Although they’ve met years before, their paths cross once again in the pursuit of success. Catch it on October 17 2020, 10pm! Watch the trailer here.

Why we’re excited: Will Seo Dal-mi and Nam Do-san get it on or compete ’til one of them gets to the top — or both? We love a good office romance and the high-techy-ness of it all!

Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol

The name might be a mouthful but it’s safe to say that music is a big part of this new K-drama from Netflix. Bubbly pianist Gu Ra-ra (Go A-ra) has had a hit of bad luck but keeps on going. She meets the meets the mysterious Sunwoo Jun (Lee Jae-wook) who is running away from his past (sounds familiar?). Jun lends Ra-ra money and helps her adjust to becoming financially independent. Meanwhile, Ra-ra helps Jun open up and express his feelings. Through laughter, tears and love, they eventually start meaning something special to each other. You can look forward to plenty of romantic and funny moments thanks to Go A-ra and Lee Jae-wook’s delightful chemistry. Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol starts on October 7, 10 PM Philippine Standard Time with weekly episodes every Wednesday and Thursday.

Why we’re excited: Music and love always go together and we can’t wait to see it work in this K-drama. We bet the soundtrack will be good!

Private Lives

netflix k-drama private lives

When you’re a public figure, where does privacy start and end? This Netflix K-drama takes an honest look into the private lives of public figures in a society where there is little “real” privacy. It’s an intimate story about real emotions, real relationships, real lives, and real consequences when things we desperately need to keep secret become public. Cha Joo-eun (Seohyun), Jeong Bok-gi (Kim Hyo-jin), and Kim Jae-wook (Kim Young-min) are con artists who seek to expose the private lives of various people. Lee Jeong-hwan (Ko Kyung-pyo) is a mysterious manager at a large company with a secret identity. With oodles of intrigue, you can enjoy figuring out the mysteries and be entertained by their different disguises. Private Lives begins on October 7, 10 PM Philippine Standard Time with weekly episodes every Wednesday and Thursday.

Why we’re excited: With all this buzz about social media infiltrating our private lives, this K-drama has come at a perfect time. Also, Ko Kyung-pyo is a mega cutie. You’re welcome.
