Kids Can Be Champions in Storytelling and Creativity

It doesn’t always have to be sports. Sometimes, kids can be champions in art and storytelling too.

We often associate the word champion with sports but there’s also a way through the arts. Whether it’s through writing, illustrating, or even through speeches, our kids can also be champions of creativity. MILO® recently released an event where kids were asked to draw and tell a story of their active lifestyle at home. Those who won the contest received a grand prize of a laptop, MILO® basketball, MILO® mug, and a year’s supply of MILO® products.

Creating an active world on a poster

We and our kids need to be active both physically and mentally. While we’re managing the house, our kids are probably filled with boundless energy. They need something to put their brains to instead of letting it sit idly by. With that in mind, the MILO® CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Poster Adventure challenged kids to create an active adventure using the different cutouts from 24g MILO® milk specially marked sachets. Not only did it serve as a creative challenge but a bonding moment for both parents and kids.

“We congratulate each of our weekly and grand prize winners who excitedly shared their active lifestyle and imagination with us. Through this experience, we hope both parents and children enjoyed this bonding moment with a cup of MILO—seeing firsthand how it gave them the energy they needed to productively balance schoolwork, chores, and still have enough for their physical or non-physical hobbies,” shares Lester P. Castillo, Head of MILO® Sports, Asst. Vice President, Nestlé Philippines, Inc.

Here are some of the grand winners to check out below.

Achieving an active lifestyle at home can be hard

Hearing the word “active” usually means we go outside to get some fresh air and sunlight. However, not all homes have enough space to achieve all the activity we need. Whether to do chores or get off our seats, being active also helps our kids and our brains continue on a champion’s journey. Even if we’re just staying at home, every nutrient from our food and milk counts in keeping us active.

For many years, MILO® has always been the milk for champions. Don’t forget to take some also for breakfast to start the day!
