Kylie Padilla Reflects on Separation: “I Got Afraid of Life”
Kylie Padilla looks back on her separation from Aljur Abrenica, admitting that it took a lot of her energy and juggling motherhood.
Kylie Padilla already opened up about the challenges of her failed marriage with Aljur Abrenica. But in a recent post on her Instagram channel, she admitted the recent trip to Japan made her reflect more.
“Ever since my separation from my ex, I have been so afraid of life,” the actress and mother of two said. “Afraid of relaxing and letting go of my grip on control. I didn’t know how much single parenthood scared me.”
The Encantadia star added she also felt the pressure especially as she juggled as mother to kids Alas and Axl. “I was bursting at the seams but looking back, I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. 2024 is here and I think I can afford to calm down.”
Kylie Padilla says she is loved
As she welcomes 2024, Kylie said she made abundance her mantra. “Maybe the lesson is the more you let go then the more you can accept into your life. More help, more calmness, and more smiles rather than overthinking.”
“I am loved, I am ok and I am supported. Hay. Amen for everything,” she added.
During her interview with Boy Abunda last November, Kylie admitted that she gave so much of herself to save the marriage despite the struggles.
“I made a promise to myself kahit I went through postpartum and postpartum is very hard, a very difficult thing to do; for a woman to go through. Pero pinaglaban ko pa din hanggang sa dulo na paninindigan namin yung ginawa naming kasal.”
Despite the failure of her marriage, Kylie said she had no regrets. She has since been co-parenting their sons with Aljur.
