Marian Rivera and Raphael Landicho Have Such A Cute Work Mom-Son Relationship!

Having a work-family is just as fun as having your own in Marian Rivera and Raphael Landicho’s case!

Working together with people eventually creates a small family of our own. They are our comfort space; especially when the industry and its people can be distressing, a work-family keeps the morale up. Like in celebrity mom Marian Rivera and Raphael Landicho‘s case, the two are working together on the mom’s comeback series project: “Against All Odds” — one that marks Marian’s return into the limelight after a four year hiatus.

How do we know they have a work mom-son relationship? On Raphael’s 11th birthday, he gets a brand new iPad mini from the veteran actress which had him jumping for joy.

Kaya po pala di mo ko masyado pinansin. May pasurprise pala po kayo,” he admits while laughing in delight. “Thank you! Love you mommy!”

Having a family in a demanding industry

The entertainment industry is the kind that demands one to stand out. But so long as Raphael Landicho works with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, there’s comfort in the knowledge that he’s being looked after. The tween actor was also seen bonding with Marian Rivera’s kids, Sixto and Zia, in the swimming pool of the actress’ home and playing together. The two sometimes do TikTok challenges together, dancing for fun to work off the exhaustion from acting.

Alongside Marian Rivera, Raphael Landicho also expressed his gratitude to his two on-screen moms: Carla Abellana and Max Collins during the premiere of The Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience. While he and Carla Abellana worked together in Voltes V as the mom-son duo Mary Ann Armstrong and Little Jon, they also performed in “Love of My Life.” On the other hand, Max was his mom, Jessie, in the series Bihag.

“My two mommies in showbiz industry na love na love ko and sobra namiss ko po sila,” he writes, adding the hashtags of their characters: #MamaAdelle and #MamaJessie.

With wholesome work relationships like that, Raphael’s family can rest easy knowing that there’s someone showing him the ropes.

A Work Family Makes Things A Lot Easier

The only difference between a work family and a real family is that the level of professionalism demands a respect that further builds camaraderie and the relationship. But some people are simply too adorable and wholesome not to “adopt;” which is why Marian Rivera and Raphael Landicho gel so well together and have a cute work mom-son relationship. We’re sure it’ll be even more evident in the upcoming series, Against All Odds, as it debuts during the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.
