We Miss You: Mark Gil’s Children Remember Actor On 10th Death Anniversary
Siblings Gabby, Andi, Max, and Stevie shared photos of their father Mark Gil, who died in 2014
It’s been 10 years since actor Mark Gil died and his children continue to miss and honor him. On his death anniversary on September 1, four of his kids shared messages on their respective social media accounts, always remembering the first man in their lives.
Gabby Eigenmann
Gabby, the eldest of Mark’s kids reposted a photo of him and his siblings together with their dad’s photo.
“Happy 10 years in heaven. Missing you still,” the actor shared.
He also reposted a photo his wife Apple shared where Mark was with them.
Andi Eigenmann
Andi, who is based in Siargao also shared photos on Instagram stories. ” A decade since our dad passed. [It] still feels as heavy when we think about it. On the bright side, I have these fools by my side for life,” referring to her four siblings. “No matter how far apart we are from each other, lourve.”
In another post, Andi wrote: “The vibes are not just the same without the main man!” Missing you, dad!!”
Andi is Mark’s daughter with Jaclyn Jose, who passed away last March.
Max Eigenmann
Max also shared photos of her dad on Instagram stories. In one post she wrote: ” What I would give to hug you again,” followed by the hashtag #10years.
She also posted the same photo of the siblings, which all of them said was their complete photo together. ” Ten years today and yet we still feel you everywhere. Love and miss you daddy. Today and always.”
Stevie Eigenmann
The youngest of the siblings, Stevie also shared how it has been since their dad’s passing.
” Wow 10 years since heaven gained a chaotic angel and 10 years since my sibbies were last complete. And 10 years later, this is pretty much how we look like, love that for us.”
In another post, Stevie shared how she misses her dad so much, joking how she wished she could drink with him now that she’s allowed.

Mark Gil died of liver cancer at the age of 52 in 2014. Born Raphael John Eigenmann, some of the movies he became known for include Batch 81, Palipat-Lipat Papalit-Palit, Magnifico, Alon, and Rotonda.
Before his death, Mark’s last show was The Legal Wife starring Angel Locsin.
Mark is the second of three siblings from Rosemarie Gil and Eddie Mesa. His brother is actor Michael de Mesa and the late actress Cherie Gil.
