Grey’s Anatomy: The Medical Soap We All Loved Watching

Each episode of Grey’s Anatomy brought us on an emotional rollercoaster we’ll never forget. The death of George and McDreamy, and even the snarky comebacks of Christina and all the way to some of the main cast leaving. All of these scenes always made our day every time we watched Grey’s Anatomy.

The most recent episodes of Grey’s Anatomy showed Meredith Grey saying goodbye to her colleagues as well. This hinted that Ellen Pompeo was having the titular character retire her scalpel for now. In the episodes, Meredith recently accepted a proposal to continue researching a cure for Alzheimer’s. This was the disease that took Meredith’s mother, Ellis Grey’s, life.

“I’ll definitely be back to visit,” she adds.

In case you didn’t know—Ellen Pompeo is a celebrity mom, too! She and her husband, Chris Ivery, showed up in the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Women’s Show in Italy last July with her three kids. Her 5-year-old son Eli Christopher and her daughters, 7-year-old Sienna May and 12-year-old Stella Luna.
