Meet Modern Parenting’s 100 List of 2025 Part 3

Meet the modern parents shaping the future of the family

Eric Tai and Rona Samson Tai

Every family has a story to tell, and for content creators and entrepreneurs Eric and Rona—an actor and a host, respectively—theirs is one of triumph, faith, and unshakable love. Parenting, they’ve discovered, is as much about navigating modern challenges as it is about celebrating small victories. Between sleepless nights, negotiating screen time, and managing the swirl of social media influences, they approach each day with intention and faith. For them, the future of family is built on celebrating life’s everyday miracles, big and small.

Eva Psychee Patalinjug Lim

In addition to being a lawyer, Eva is a registered nurse, an entrepreneur, and the president of the Miss Asia Pacific International. With everything she has done and continues to accomplish, keeping her grounded are her two children—Fredrick and Francine. In raising them, she cultivates a balance of strength and empathy, and encourages them to be curious, confident, and independent.

“I want them to understand that resilience comes from compassion, that integrity shapes their choices, and that their voices matter in shaping a kinder, more inclusive world.”

Genevieve Jimenez Yalung

Acknowledging that today’s time is driven by technology, My Closet Manager founder Genevieve believes providing for children goes beyond the basic needs and enrolling them in good schools. She recognizes the importance of also prioritizing children’s emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. The mother of two—Geneve (25) and Brent (9) —stresses the value of empathy especially nowadays— citing the practice of sensitivity to others as a superpower to have.

Geri Camahort Lamata

In order to help create a bright future, parents should look to the past and keep certain family traditions alive. Case in point, food content creator and the mom behind Baba’s Bites, ensures that her son Andres (5) is always surrounded by their loved ones. For Geri, food is really her love language, and nothing makes her happier than preparing spreads for her loved ones. They celebrate the holidays together; they gather every Sunday for lunch, and they run around and play outside, making friends along the way. After all, the little things matter too.

Ginger Arboleda

CEO and Co-Founder of Taxumo, an online tax compliance platform, Ginger believes that learning is best achieved through experiences. She immerses her kids Zeeka (12) and Yani (4) in homeschooling, traveling, martial arts, music, and entertainment, which collectively teaches empathy, discipline, and creativity. In addition, she teaches her kids curiosity, resiliency, and kindness—three values that will help them adapt to the ever- changing world we live in.

Ginger Gaddi

Event stylist and florist, Ginger shares, “I want my children to have big hearts… I hope they discover their passions, embrace their purpose, and live a life that leaves a positive mark on others.” As an advocate for neurodiversity and mental health awareness, she is raising Pio (14) and her twins Alon and Alab (6) without the pressure of fitting into traditional molds. Instead, she focuses on nurturing understanding and embracing individuality.

Happee Sy Go

When it comes to raising her son Winter (12) and daughter London (8) , Happee strikes a balance within and beyond the four corners of their home. Through homeschooling and traveling the world, Happee’s kids acquire the foundational values while being exposed to new cultures, ideas, and adventures. Above all, it is kindness that Happee wishes her children to carry with them wherever they go. “I believe that their kindness will always open doors for them.”

Ida Cruz

Strength comes in many forms. For Ida, fitness enthusiast and founder of The Movement Studio, strength manifests itself in resilience, empathy, and curiosity. Balancing physical and emotional strength, she raises her daughter Amalia to chase purpose instead of perfection. “I want her to know that she comes from a line of women who didn’t let fear dictate their choices, and that her worth is built on who she becomes, not what the world expects her to be.”

Isa Garcia Sicam and Marie Garcia Vergel De Dios

When one chooses kindness, stewardship follows. Both values are near and dear to Designer Blooms Global CEO Isa and COO Marie, especially when it comes to their children Bean (6) and Natalia (22) , respectively. In raising them to see kindness as a form of intelligence and strength, Isa and Marie are instilling the power of stewardship to transform talent into responsibility and success into service. The future will bring new technologies, new definitions of success, and new challenges, but the core values a child is raised wth remains constant, especially when nurtured.

Jaja Chiongbian Rama

“A grateful heart is a happy heart” is the saying that often gets heard in the home of Jaja, Founder and CEO of Bigseed Public Relations & Events. Manu (14) , Sebi (11) , and Georgie (7) are being raised to always carry an attitude of gratitude, lead with kindness and integrity, and be rooted in faith and prayer. With God at the center of their family and by leading through example, Jaja hopes that integrity will be her children’s quiet compass, steadying them with courage and clarity.
