Modern Parenting’s Moms Day Out: An Intimate Affair at Okada Manila

Modern Parenting recently treated moms to an afternoon of wine, hors d’oeuvres, coffee, lots of prizes, and fun conversations at Okada Manila.

Mother’s Day is the one day of the year that moms get honored and celebrated for everything that they do. Some would argue that it’s not enough. This is why Modern Parenting recently put together an intimate affair to give moms a quick break. Last May 19, select moms flocked to Okada Manila to indulge in wine, coffee, loads of prizes, and great company.

Moms Day Out at the Luna Lounge of Okada Manila

The event took place in Luna Lounge on the third floor of Okada Manila’s Coral Wing. Every corner was truly Instagram-worthy. And it was a privilege that Modern Parenting was the very first one to use it!

Modern Parenting’s Editor-in-Chief, Marga Medrano Tupaz, opened the quick program before giving the floor to Judy Malabanan of Save the Children Philippines. Afterward, major sponsors Nespresso and i-Fern played a short video to talk about their products. Okada Manila and Ogawa then raffled off staycations and gift certificates to lucky guests!

Free Flowing Wine and Coffee Care of Wine Depot and Nespresso

Aside from the delicious food that Okada Manila served, guests enjoyed free-flowing wine from Wine Depot and coffee from Nespresso’s coffee bar.

Goodie Bags Filled with Gifts from Sponsors

Before the affair ended, each guest received a goodie bag full of gifts from Wine Depot, Hada Labo, Skin Aqua, Sans Fluo, ELIN, Belle de Jour, Oasis Sauna, YOU Beauty, Assad Mini Mart, Honest Junk, and MORSELS Healthy Snacks. They also got copies of Modern Parenting’s first print issue.

Modern Parenting has always arranged the best events that moms look forward to. And what better way to honor them this Mother’s Month than with a face-to-face celebration where they can unwind and have meaningful conversations over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee!
