Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie is Going To Be A Dad!

“It’s been a hell of a journey. I love you. I appreciate you. Thank you for existing.” — Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco

Panic! At The Disco was one of the rock bands that came out alongside Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance with Brendon Urie as the lead vocalist, creating their signature song I Write Sins, Not Tragedies. However, Brendon recently took to the band’s Instagram account to announce the end of one journey and the beginning of another. “But sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin. We’ve been trying to keep it to ourselves, though some of you may have heard. Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon!”

He also wrote he now intends to focus on his family. “That said, I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more.”

The struggle to put into words the love and appreciation for his “fellow sinners”

Brendon Urie finds himself both “humbled and excited” about watching his wife become a mother and face the prospect of being a father. It’s an adventure he looks forward to but he doesn’t forget to thank the fans for being with them all the way. “Thank you all for your immense support over the years. I’ve sat here trying to come up with the perfect way to say this and I truly can’t put into words how much it has meant to us. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or are just finding us, it has been a pleasure to not only share the stage with so many talented people but also share our time with you.”

Fellow sinners (a name Brendon Urie lovingly calls the fans) may mourn for a bit as their last concert will be happening in Europe and the UK for “one last run together.”

Congratulations on the New Baby, Brendon!

Although it’s sad to see the end of an era that many millennial parents grew up with, their songs will always play on our mp3 players and Spotify when we need an emotional and cathartic release through music. We don’t know if the boys will come back again to perform. But for now, it’s a prologue for Brendon and Sarah for their new life as a family. Congratulations!

Brendon Urie performed some familiar songs such as Frozen 2’s Into The Unknown and even co-sang with Taylor Swift for the song Me.
