LOOK: Parents at the MEGA Ball 2023
Some of the most prominent couples and parents took time off from their busy schedules to attend the MEGA Ball 2023 at the Peninsula Hotel on Independence Day.
Every year, we always look forward to the MEGA Ball, which happens on June 12 — also known as the country’s Independence Day. While we’ve seen different themes through the years, all of which put Filipinos at the forefront, this year’s theme was especially distinct, as it combined art and fashion. Held at the Rigodon Ballroom of one of the most esteemed hotels in Metro Manila, the Peninsula Manila, guests arrived in black, white, and beige ensembles.
MEGA’s Editor-in-Chief, Peewee Reyes-Isidro, opened the program and welcomed everyone while MEGA Ball Co-Chair and Modern Parenting May Spotlight, Sheila Romero, gave an opening speech. The night highlighted ten awardees in the art and fashion scene and also celebrated contemporary Filipino glass sculptor and father of four, Ramon Orlina, with the MEGA Icon Award.
And since the MEGA Ball serves as a JUNK (Just Us, No Kids) Night for many parents, we rounded up the modern moms and dads who were there.
