PSA: The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Is Here!

Dear bookworms, parents of bookworms, and aspiring writers, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is here to blow your minds away!

The biggest problem with getting kids to read books is that some are just not available. And if ever they are, they need to ship it over and pay a 50% down payment (which, let’s be honest, can be annoying) and wait for x number of months before it shows up. Well, it looks like we’re getting a bit of reprieve from that as the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is now happening on the second floor of V-Mall. Never seen before titles and maybe books we and the kids wished to buy online are now on the shelves!

How To Make The Most Out Of The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale

To survive what may be the most dangerous place for bookworms and book-loving parents alike, the first thing to know is that there are two sections. The first section, the one right in front of the escalator and near the glowing “Big Bad Wolf Book Sale” signage, is full of kids’ books. So parents, if your kids are currently bored with their library, now’s the time to stock up! They have a wide selection of almanacs, games, and activity books that the kids will enjoy!

The older kids will find more fun in the other section. Exit out of the first section, and right next to a small toy store and there will be another treasure trove of books for the older kids. Most of these books are sorted out by genres and even have a “Young Adult” section for the teens and the phases in between.

As for payments, cash might be a better choice since the internet can be a bit spotty in Greenhills. Though it might be a good thing, we guess, for some parents who are trying to stop their children from transforming into the reclusive book goblins.

Whether kids or parents, we’re always out looking for a good story. Especially when we’re in the Philippines, we love reading or hearing those juicy stories. In a way, it’s how we connect with other people. We read books that lead us to other worlds that then eventually introduce us to other communities, families, and kids who like the same things we do. Besides, these are some of the things those wild Reddit stories we read or listen to are made of!

The best part is, reading a book doesn’t count as screen time. The only risk the kids run is getting enthralled by the story so much that they lose track of time. Happy reading!

The Big Bad Wolf Sale is currently located on the 2nd floor of V-Mall, Greenhills, San Juan. Nearest parking available includes O-Square (where Kimpura is) or in GH Mall (entrance is right across OB Montessori).
