How Suki Waterhouse Announced She and Robert Pattinson Were Going to be Parents
The Twilight star and the Daisy Jones and the Six actress are expecting their first child together.
A Twilight baby is on the way! Robert Pattinson and his longtime girlfriend, actress and singer Suki Waterhouse, are going to be parents soon.
During the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City on Sunday, November 19, the Daisy Jones and the Six actress alluded to her growing baby bump when she talked about her dress.
“I thought I’d wear something sparkly to distract you from something else I’ve got going on,” she said during the festival. “I’m not sure it’s working.”
Robert Pattinson, whose other projects include The Batman and Tenet, has yet to say anything about Suki’s pregnancy. The Twilight Instagram, however, congratulated him by posting: “Anyone else a little emotional today because Robert Pattinson is going to be a dad? Congratulations to Suki and Rob!”
Notoriously private
The couple, who has been dating since 2018, have kept their relationship under the radar except for a few appearances. Among their most recent appearances were the Dior Men’s Fashion event in Egypt in 2022, where they made their official red carpet debut, and the 2023 Met Gala.
In a 2019 interview, Rob talked about why he and Suki have been very quiet about their life together.
“If you let people in, it devalues what love is,” he said. “If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think it extremely rude. And if you put up a wall, it ends up better.”
