Family photos are a Christmas tradition that commemorate the many memories — both good and bad — that have happened over the year. While we’re the ones usually taking candid shots, we’d like a formal one with our families to at least remember how Christmas looked! And for us planning to send family photos to our relatives in other countries, they’d want a picture to see how our family’s doing, too! Here are some self-shoot studios to book for our family Christmas photoshoot.
Klick Self-Shoot Studio
A self-shoot studio in Marikina, families can avail of Klick Self-Shoot Studio‘s Package 3 worth P1,800. Although the studio only allows a maximum of five for the shoot, there are also four background colors to choose from and parents can choose which ones to print. The shoot will take at the most an hour: 40 minutes for the shoot itself and 20 minutes for the choosing. The studio is open from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Stills Studio
For those looking for a more noir and classy approach to their family photos, Stills Studio in Makati offers both colored and grayscale photos. They have six backdrop colors: white, pale gray, dark gray, cocoa brown, matcha green, and the neutral beige linen color. Although the photos may look a little more formal, the self-shoot studio charges P2,000 for a family of four in their package.

A Studios
Catering to families from both North (South Caloocan) and South (Manila), A Studios is another self-shoot studio that comes with its very own prop cart for families who would prefer a wacky Christmas photo. Their backdrops come in five colors: leaf green, sakura pink, sky blue, daylight yellow, and light oak brown. As for their rates, their family package starts at P1,500 with a maximum of five people. But we also love that pets can join the shoot with an additional fee of P100 per pet.

Atomm Studios
As one of the first self-shoot studios, Atomm Studios price their packages based on the time spent. Families with toddlers and babies may need to avail of the ATOMM ONE package which is around P4,750.00 and provides an hour’s worth of unlimited shots. But there are packages for short shoots, too! There’s also a package worth 15 minutes which is perfect if the family already has older kids who know what to do.
They have two studios: one in Unit 201-A, Lot, 6 Blk 7 Batasan-San Mateo Rd, Quezon City, 1126 Metro Manila. The other studio is at Unit 112, Parkway Corporate Center, Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa, 1781 Metro Manila.
20 Somethings Studio
A more colorful and playful family will appreciate the color selection in 20 Somethings Studio. With various backdrop colors like nude, hot pink, sea green, wine red, and even navy blue, every family in Quezon City will have their brains brimming with pegs and ideas for the perfect Christmas photo! And for fur parents in the area, the studio also accommodates pets! The first pet is free with every succeeding pet incurring a small charge.

Balara Content House
For a more “Japandi” vibe for family Christmas photos, the Balara Content House has so many IG-able spots that the family would love to pose in. They have a patio, an office set-up, and even a living room to create that homey vibe for a tight shot. After a long hard shoot, they also have a café to enjoy some coffee while looking over the photos.

Lucas Studio
Because it’s an ambient self-shoot studio, Lucas Studio offers families more flexibility and style by allowing them to bring their own props. Some people have even rented flower walls and cutout boards to add more personality to their photos. But for those who don’t have props, you can ask if they have the ones you need to create your ideal family Christmas photo.

BNB Studio
The beauty of this studio is that it has two floors which means there are a lot of pegs to work with! There’s even an aesthetic bathroom for those who also want a more lifestyle-like shot! While they already have some pre-set designs, they also have some concept rooms where people can bring their own ideas to life for their family photos.

Studio Simula
A house found within the heart of Cubao, Studio Simula offers a more contemporary and Scandinavian approach to the photo’s layout. Much of their studio has stone, wood, and black iron textures which make it perfect for a coffee-themed family shoot, especially if the majority of the family are coffee drinkers. When we do book our shoots at the studio, make sure to avail of their Christmas package. For only P6,500, families get two backdrops, 30 minutes of shoot time with unlimited shots, 30 raw shots to take home, and a Christmas box to preserve the memories!

Roost Studio
Roost Studio has different concept areas for families to add more personality to their shoots. Although it may not be obvious at the front of the building, the guard will be happy to tell you that Roost Studio is inside the building.

If the house is too cluttered and there’s no time to fix it, or if we’re really not in the mood to pull out the Christmas tree, these self-shoot studios are designed to look so much like a home so that it doesn’t look too formal. However, before attending these shoots, make sure to have some pegs and designs in mind so that we don’t have to waste precious time figuring out what poses to do. Although many of us have grown up with studios like Great Image, Nice Photography, and the like, family Christmas photos need a bit more lifestyle flair than the typical white backdrop!
