Super Junior’s Sungmin and Wife Kim Sa-Eun Are Expecting their First Child
The couple, who got married in 2014 shared the news on July 16 in their respective social media accounts
Congratulations are in order for Super Junior’s Sungmin and his wife Kim Sa-Eun. The couple announced on July 16 that they are expecting their first child together.
In a translation provided by Soompi, Sungmin wrote: ” A precious baby has come to me. I’m becoming a father after 10 years of marriage. As much as the baby came to us after much difficulty, we will take responsibility and raise it with love and care.”
Sungmin admits to feeling nervous sharing the news and hopes the announcement is received well by their followers.
” Now that I have someone to take responsibility for, everything in the world feels more precious than before. To everyone who always supports me with love and attention, I would like to say thank you once again. I will become a singer who repays [the love] with great music that gives happiness.”
Sa-Eun’s excitement
In her message, Sa Eun wrote that’s excited and nerovus.
” I didn’t know I would feel this much nervous,” she shared. “After a long wait of 10 years, a baby came to us like a miracle. We nicknamed the baby PoPo.”
Writing that she’s eight months pregnant, Sa Eun said she is enjoying the moment and gets amazed by the changes in her body.
” As I was very cautious and concerned, I am delivering the news a little late. To my Kkangchongs (nickname for Kim Sa Eun’s YouTube subscribers) whom I really wanted to share this news to, I will be sharing the stories that I haven’t been able to tell on the Shantokki channel! Aunts and uncles, see you in September.”
Sungmin rose to fame as part of the Korean group Super Junior, whose hits include “Sorry, Sorry,” “Bonamana,” and “Mr. Simple.” He is currently on hiatus from the group’s activities.
