The New Toy Story 5 Coming Out This 2024!
Toy Story intends to close Woody’s saga with the new movie coming out this 2024.
The Toy Story movie series endeared itself to our hearts because it reminded us how we eventually outgrew our toys but also passed them down to the next generation to enjoy. But it also sparked our child-like wonder, “What if toys had consciousness like us? What do they think about us?” These were the kinds of questions our kids and even we, asked ourselves when we played with toys while we were young. But the new Toy Story 5 movie will finally close the saga on Woody who’s trying to find his purpose as a toy. Leaks have poured in from YouTube with some of Disney’s sub-channels posting it, showcasing the up-and-coming beloved toy movie.
What We Know So Far About The New Toy Story Movie
The trailer, although just a teaser, has leaked a bit of the premise as Woody discovers that as a toy — he is slowly losing his appeal. While he reminisces on memories he spent with his first owner Andy, he also discovers that kids no longer enjoy playing with him. Fearful, he tries to find his original owner in hopes of getting some semblance of stability and serenity of the good ‘ol days when Andy would pretend-play with him.
The cast remains the same star-studded cast it has always been so far. Currently, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen will be reprising their beloved roles as Woody and Buzz Lightyear respectively. Tim Allen even quoted one of Buzz Lightyear’s first lines in the Toy Story series on X (formerly known as Twitter).

We’re Still Waiting On Announcements
Unfortunately, there’s no set date yet when the new Toy Story movie will come out. However, there have been leaks from various parts of the internet that Toy Story 5 will be the “closing” and probably the most “heartbreaking” one of the saga. Although some have reacted badly to having Andy (Woody’s original owner) returning, some are reserving their comments. But for many of us who grew up on Toy Story, we’re looking forward to how the new movie will close one of the most beloved movie franchises.
