Zanjoe Marudo And Ria Atayde Welcome First Child
The couple, who got married in March, announced the pregnancy in June
Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde have welcomed their first child. Zanjoe confirmed the news by sharing a short video on Instagram stories with the date 9.23.04. Ria also reposted the video on her Instagram stories.
Actress Sylvia Sanchez, Ria’s mom also shared the same video and expressed her excitement being a lola.
“Lola na ako!!! Yahoooo!!! My heart is full,” the actress said.
Other details of the couple’s child have yet to be shared.
A year for the Marudos
It’s been a busy year for Zanjoe and Ria. In February, the couple confirmed they were engaged. The two married in civil rites while celebrating Ria’s birthday in March.
After two months, the couple confirmed that they were expecting their first child by sharing beach photos of them together. Ria was seen strolling with Zanjoe and her growing baby bump.
Before their baby’s arrival, the couple was given a baby shower which also served as Zanjoe’s birthday party.
Ria was last seen on television in Nag-aapoy na Damdamin and the movie Fruitcake. Zanjoe meanwhile was last seen in the teleserye Dirty Linen alongside Janine Gutierrez and in the film Keys to the Heart shown on Netflix.
