Zara Lopez Talks About Being a Single Mom in an Instagram Monologue
Former Viva Hot Babe Zara Lopez opens up about being a single mom after her partner left her.
Being a single parent is challenging—more so if it happened twice. This is the case of former Viva Hot Babe Zara Lopez who, in an Instagram reel, confirmed that she and her partner, Simon Javier have separated. The couple have a daughter together.
The reel was posted on February 12 with the caption: “Isang musmos na bata Ang pinagkaitan ng kumpletong pamilya,” followed by a broken heart emoji. (An innocent child is deprived of a complete family)
She began the monologue by saying that despite the challenges, she will still fight for her children’s future. “Hindi sapat ang salitang sustento para sa anak. Kumpletong pamilya ang kailangan ng isang inosenteng bata.” (Support is not enough for a child. A complete family is what an innocent kid needs.)
“Hindi dahilan ang problemang pinagdadaanan kung may isang musmo na bata ang masasakripisyo para sa sariling kapakanan,” she added. (Having a problem is not an excuse, especially when an innocent child is involved and gets sacrificed—just because of one’s selfishness.)
Zara Lopez: I Will Survive
Although she knows being a single parent will be difficult, Zara said that she will make sure to do her best. She even assures single moms that things will be okay and that God will help them.
“Ang Diyos ang tanging kakampi sa laban na wala kaming kasalanan ng anak. Iniwan mo mang mag-isa, pero magpapatuloy sa buhay at magiging malakas.” (The Lord is our only support in this fight. My child and I are not at fault. You may have left us, but we will move on with life and be stronger.)
“Pinagkaitan man ng buong pamilya ang walang kasalanan na bata, umasa kang magiging buo kami kahit wala ka. Hindi mo man pinanindigan, pero maninindigan para sa anak,” she added. (You may have deprived an innocent child a of a complete family, but rest assured that we will be a complete family—even without you.)
Finishing off her reel, she then says that she and her child will survive—even without him in the equation. “Hindi mo man kami nailaban, pero panoorin mo ko kung paano ko ipapanalo ang laban na hindi mo kami sinamahan.” (You may have not fought for us, but watch how I will strive even if you’re not around.)
Several of her friends from showbiz sent their moral support in the comments section. They assured that despite the pain she was going through, she would be able to rise above the challenges.
On top of her daughter with Simon, she has another daughter from a previous relationship.
