After all, the modern family figure is tasked with navigating both the growth of a child and the personal growth of a parent. We recognize that even the best of us need a little support. And we have made it a mission to remain the reliable ally of modern parents everywhere. This is why we’re doing another Parentalk 2023!
You’re Invited to Parentalk 2023
Parentalk 2023 is a series of discussions with parents and experts. However, unlike last year when the conversation happened online, this year’s Parentalk will be a highly anticipated two-day conference. It aims to empower and educate parents with the latest topics, tips, and strategies for raising children in the modern world.
Parentalk 2023 will take place on August 19 and 20, 2023 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Glorietta 2 Palm Drive Activity Center in Makati. It will also coincide with the Momzilla bazaar.
What to Expect at Parentalk 2023
Aside from the Momzilla bazaar that has curated the best brands for parents, babies, and children, we have a lineup of topics and speakers on each day of the event. These include:
It Starts at Home
Establishing positive and healthy habits begin at home. Join Dr. Mara Huber and Nikki Gil-Albert as they discuss how moms cultivate effective routines for newborns and toddlers. From meals and play activities to proper sleep habits and bath time, what proven tips can aid fellow moms?
Holding Space and Self-Care
In this segment, Mindy Lagdameo, Dr. Kaycee Reyes, and Tricia Centenera explore why and how moms prioritize their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Managing the journey from pregnancy to motherhood is tough. But equipped with proper tools, moms can embrace a wholesome parenting experience.
Parenting in the Digital Age
Kids are digital natives, and they engage with the internet at an early age. But how much is too much? How do moms oversee gadget time and ensure safety and security? In this section, Zeinab Harake, Phoemela Baranda, and Anna Magkawas discuss how to safeguard kids’ privacy, educate them about online risks, and protect them from the harmful risks in the digital space.
It Takes a Village
Audrey Pastelero of Momzilla and Bernadette Zulueta of Millennial Moms PH will talk about parenting communities. Specifically why parents need a tribe to call their own and the importance of no-judgment parenting.
