A Superhero Moment for the Whole Family: Superman Cast Heads to Manila
Superman fans in Manila will get a chance to see the cast of the new Superman film on June 19

Families of Manila, Superman is coming to the capital! On its social media pages, the cast led by David Corenswet, director James Gunn, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult announced that they will embark on a world tour, with Manila as one of the stops on June 19 at the Mall of Asia Music Hall for a fan event.
“Superman is coming to a city near you,” the cast announced.
Corenswet, Gunn, Brosnahan, and Hoult will be joined by Gunn’s fellow DC Studios head and co-producer Peter Safran.
The Superman Fever Is On!
Since the news of a reboot was announced, director James Gunn, known for directing Guardians of the Galaxy, has been busy with the cast promoting the film at different comic conventions. Several teasers have also been released since last year.
So far, the full trailer has given fans a glimpse of what danger lies ahead for our superhero. The trailer also showed a brief moment with his adopted dad, Jonathan, who told him, “Your choices, your actions, that’s what makes you who you are.”
We also saw him badly beaten after a fight with his beloved Krypto, helping him out.

The Countdown Begins!
With Superman hitting the Philippines on July 9, there’s a lot in store for fans of the red cape superhero.
“This project is more than just a movie to me. It’s a story about humanity, about what it means to be a hero in a world that doesn’t always make it easy to be one. I can’t wait for you to see it. The heart, the action, and the incredible performances from David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, and the entire cast,” James Gunn said in a press release.
Superman is the first full-length film under DC Studios since the announcement of a reboot. One thing is for sure – families will look forward to the storyline it will show.
