Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer Hints At Sue Storm’s Pregnancy And A Space-Sized Threat
Marvel’s First Family defends the Earth from a gigantic enemy
After teasing fans last February with a sneak peek, Marvel dropped the first full trailer for Fantastic Four: First Steps on Thursday, April 17.
In the first teaser, we saw a flashback of how they got their powers. But in the new almost three-minute clip, we see more of what the team, dubbed Marvel’s “First Family,” is about to face in protecting the Earth.
Clues to Sue Storm’s Pregnancy
In one scene, Ben Grimm and Johnny Storm ask Sue and Reed Richards why they are late for dinner when they always eat together. Ben then mentions that Sue is probably pregnant, to the excitement of Johnny as an uncle-to-be. He tells his sister, “You’re going to be the best mom in the world.”

Another scene in the clip shows Sue standing by the crib in the dark as Reed enters. She tells Reed, “ I’m not giving up,” referring to the danger they will face.
When Sue, along with Reed, Ben, and Johnny, faces the Silver Surfer, she is shown with what seems to be a growing baby bump.
More than the action the four are about to face, the trailer hints at what we’re about to see from Sue in the film – that of a mother-to-be’s worries for her future child.

The Enemy From Space
If you are a fan of the Fantastic Four comic books, chances are you know that one of the group’s main enemies is Galactus, who consumes planets to sustain his life and power. It looks like he is the main villain for our heroes, and Galactus is assisted by the Silver Surfer, who tells the four that Earth has been marked “for death.”
Worries from Earth
The Fantastic Four have been dubbed heroes by people on Earth. But many wonder if they will be safe from Galactus. When asked if they are safe, Reed Richards is seen answering, “I don’t know.” But in another scene, he told everyone, “We will protect you.”
We don’t know how this battle ends, but Marvel’s First Family looks ready to risk everything to protect Earth.
Marvel’s First Family Is Coming!
Since last year’s announcement, much has been said about the upcoming Fantastic Four film. And with a July 25 release, we’re getting ready to see how this film will tie into the next Marvel movies.
Before the movie’s release, the Fantastic Four had been confirmed as part of the Avengers: Doomsday movie, scheduled for 2026.

Seems like the Fantastic Four is just starting to bring the adventure to a new generation of kids they have not yet experienced.
