Andi Eigenmann Thanks Philmar and His Reply Made Us Kilig

Celebrity islander mom Andi Eigenmann continues to be surprised by the many beautiful things in Siargao. And the island has given her another one — with the help of her partner, Philmar Alipayo. Convinced to try out sunrise surfing, Andi discovered and marveled at another one of the finer things that Siargao has to offer: the clear view of the sunrise. She thanked Philmar for the push to which he replied with, “My goal in life is to make our family better and happier.”
Not the only beauty she experienced that day
“She went for a sunrise surf and she ain’t eva lookin’ baaack,” Andi declared on her Instagram. “Philmar has been pushing me to do this [sunrise surfing] for a while now. I literally texted him to say thank you, for always introducing me to the finer things in life. To see the beauty of this island in all its facets.”
But the sunrise during her surf isn’t the only beauty she experienced. It was also the beauty of knowing that Philmar’s goal aligns with hers: to make their family better and happier. He also adds on her Instagram (which makes us extra kilig), “Gusto ko malipayon kaw.”
In Bisaya, it’s translated as, “I want to make you happy.” And he accomplished just that!
The love language of gift giving isn’t always material
Sometimes, romance fades away in a marriage, especially when much of the effort is devoted to parenthood. When the love language is gift-giving, it’s hard to do when there’s no time to run to the store to grab something. Gifts don’t need to always be something they can hold; some of the best gifts can be an experience — something Andi has experienced when Philmar finally convinced to try out sunrise surfing.
