Philippine showbiz in 2021 was a rollercoaster ride. There were weddings, new couples, people who passed on, and baby news. This 2022, more celebrity moms are going to give birth for the first and second time around.
It’s definitely going to be another baby boom this year with these celebrity mom to be’s!
Rich Asuncion
GMA actress Rich Asuncion announced in September that she and her husband Benj Mundie are expecting baby number 2. The couple is currently based in Australia with their daughter Bela.
Dionne Monsanto
Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate and actress Dionne Monsanto announced last December that she and her husband Ryan Stadler are going to be parents. During her announcement, she said she was 20 weeks pregnant.
She and Ryan are currently based in Switzerland.
Kryz Uy
Blogger Kryz Uy and her husband, Pinoy Big Brother alumna Slater Young are going to be parents for the second time. Kryz confirmed she was expecting baby number two last November.
Angeline Quinto
Singer Angeline Quinto confirmed that she was expecting her first child. The baby is set to arrive in April 2022. Angeline has yet to give information about the father of her child to the public.
Jennylyn Mercado
Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo are expecting their first child together. It was revealed after their wedding that they are expecting a baby girl. The couple has sons from previous relationships.
Winwyn Marquez
On December 18, actress and beauty queen Winwyn Marquez announced that she was expecting her first child. The daughter of Alma Moreno and Joey Marquez did not reveal the father of her child but confirmed in vlog last December 31 that she was expecting a baby girl.
Other celebrities expecting the stork include GMA reporter Cata Tibayan, who is expecting baby number two, and actress and former Starstruck member Jade Lopez who is also expecting her second child.
The year 2022 is just beginning and the baby boom is not far behind!
