Andi Manzano On Trips: “It’s Natural to Feel Worried When You Leave.”

Taking a trip away from the kids may be worrying, but Andi assures it’s perfectly natural to feel this way.

It’s hard for moms to do anything for themselves when they’re always thinking about the family. From their meals, clothes, and more, those are the usual things to organize especially when they bring the children along. But when going on a trip with just their partner, it can feel a little unnerving. Although if it does, Andi Manzano offers sage advice that it’s perfectly normal to worry. “Remember that you are not abandoning them. Your kids will be waiting for you when you get back,” she assures.

Andi: “Who knew leaving your kids would be so hard?”

It may feel exciting, especially when moms realize for the first time they’ll be leaving their kids alone after so long. For Andi Manzano, it’s been 8 years since her last trip and the preggy hormones aren’t helping. Before she left the girls, she was all tears while hugging her two daughters: Olivia and Amelia. The short reel she posted on her Instagram was loaded with a lot of love and support, especially from other celebrity moms like Iya Villania and Camille Co-Koro.

“And the preggy hormones aren’t helping you either 😅 go mama!!! Enjooooy!!!” Iya encouraged her on Instagram.

Camille Co-Koro added, “It never gets easy.”

It’s not the kids that have separation anxiety. It’s usually the moms!

Moms always worry about their kids, wondering if they’re okay without them. And while they think that they’re going to freak out when they’re gone, it’s actually moms who have separation anxiety. Coupled with mom guilt, it can leave their brains scattered and numb. Especially because of the pregnancy hormones, Andi feels it more. But like she assures, “Your kids will be waiting for you when you get back, happy to see you and hear about your adventures.”
