ARMY Parents, Start Saving: BTS Is Coming to Manila in 2027
The group announces its 2026–2027 world tour, with Manila set as a stop in March 2027
It’s finally official: BTS is going back on tour—and Manila is on the list.
On Tuesday, January 13, BigHit Music, BTS’s music management company, announced the group’s highly anticipated world tour, set to kick off in South Korea in April 2026. For Filipino ARMYs, the announcement came with extra excitement as Manila was confirmed as one of the tour stops, with concert dates scheduled for March 13 and 14, 2027.
For many fans—especially parents who now share playlists, merch, and bias wreckers with their kids—the long lead time is actually good news. There’s plenty of time to plan, save, and maybe even turn the concert into a family milestone.
Live Nation Philippines also confirmed the announcement, posting: “SAVE THE DATE! BTS WORLD TOUR is officially coming to MANILA! Venue and ticketing information will be announced at a later date.”
The tour will include stops across several Asian countries, with more dates expected to be announced. It also comes as BTS gears up for its fifth studio album, slated for release this coming March—making the tour feel like a full-circle comeback fans have been waiting years for.

A comeback years in the making
BTS last performed in the Philippines in 2017, and since then, the group has rarely been complete on stage. While J-Hope visited Manila in April 2025 for his solo “Hope on the Stage” tour, a full-group return has been a long time coming.
Over the years, the members have focused on individual projects, global commitments, and mandatory military service—duties they’ve since completed. Despite the break, BTS never really left the public consciousness, with each member carving out successful solo paths while keeping the group’s bond intact.
Unsurprisingly, ARMYs flooded social media with messages of excitement and disbelief—many already counting down to 2027.
Why BTS became part of family culture
For many families, BTS isn’t just a band—it’s part of everyday life.
During the height of the pandemic, BTS became a soundtrack for many households. What often started as kids discovering K-pop quickly turned into shared listening sessions, with moms, dads, titas, and even lolas finding comfort, joy, and nostalgia in the group’s music.
And if you’re a parent who still feels like you’re playing catch-up, you’re not alone. (Don’t worry—we’ve got a BTS guide for beginners, too.)
Since debuting in 2013, BTS has grown far beyond concert stages. The group has represented South Korea on the global stage, spoken at the United Nations, and openly addressed topics like bullying, self-worth, and mental health—messages that resonate deeply with both parents and kids.
As BTS prepares to return to Manila, it’s clear this isn’t just about a concert. For many families, it’s about shared memories, meaningful music, and watching the artists who shaped a generation—together.
