Bea Borres on Expecting Her First Child and Why Support Systems Matter Most

The content creator announced that she’s 11 weeks pregnant

Bea Borres is expecting her first child — and it’s a girl. The actress and content creator recently held an intimate gender reveal party surrounded by close family and friends, including fellow Kadenang Ginto star Andrea Brillantes.

But beyond the balloons and cupcakes, Bea shared a deeper message: being a young mom isn’t easy, and it shouldn’t be glamorized.

The Gender Reveal Party

In a vlog, Bea explained that she chose to hold the gender reveal early in her pregnancy.

“So mga Ka-Petty, if you’re nagtataka why I did this so early– how did I find out about the gender– I actually found out 11 weeks ako and I’m on my 12th week. Sinabi ko talaga na magpapagender reveal ako habang sexy pa ako,” she said.

Although she didn’t invite many people, Bea said she still wanted the party to have her signature touch — fun, meaningful, and a little bongga.

Friends and family shared heartfelt wishes and promised to support her in the months ahead.

Andrea Brillantes, one of Bea’s closest friends, became emotional during her message.

“My first reaction was just tears of happiness,” Andrea shared in Filipino. “Ang saya-saya ko lang. Hindi ko alam kung bakit.”

Alam ko na kaya ito ni Bea. Tingin ko maaga siyang nabigyan ng family kasi maaga din siyang nawalan,” she added, hinting at Bea’s personal losses. “I know she’ll feel whole when her baby arrives.”

It’s a Girl!

After a round of cupcakes, a decorated box was brought in to reveal the baby’s gender. Bea opened it, and pink balloons floated out — she’s having a baby girl.

The video ended with heartfelt messages for the little one on the way.

On Young Motherhood: “It Shouldn’t Be Normalized”

Before posting the gender reveal vlog, Bea shared a more vulnerable side of her story through a TikTok post. She openly talked about the emotional journey leading up to her announcement.

“It’s been days, but this has been a long journey of acceptance ’cause I was facing it alone at first. But there’s nothing I want more now than to finally meet my baby,” she wrote. “Thank you to my family and friends who have been nothing but supportive and accepting. I’m one of the lucky few to have such a strong support system.”

She also addressed her younger followers, particularly women.

“ I just want to make it clear that being a young mom shouldn’t be normalized. To my young girl audience, please always practice being safe. I just really got lucky because I have a great support system.”

Bea’s Journey So Far

Bea Borres rose to fame in the hit afternoon drama Kadenang Ginto, where she starred alongside Andrea Brillantes and Francine Diaz. After a promising start in showbiz, she stepped back to focus on her education.

Though she took a break from acting, Bea remained active in the digital space, building a loyal online following and landing brand partnerships.
