Since being broadcast on television, Bluey has become a worldwide sensation. From television, it went on to have different merchandise, ranging from books, clothing, music, and even an upcoming film scheduled for 2027.
Back in August, then-Australian Ambassador to the Philippines, Dr. Moya Colett, spoke about how the Heeler family, comprising Bluey, Bingo, and their parents, Mum Chilli and Dad Bandit, has taken the world of children’s entertainment by storm.
“I think Bluey speaks to the universal experience of parenting. But I also think it highlights the appeal of Australian values and culture,” she said, referring to the show’s origin from Australia.
“This is a kids’ show that adults also love. It’s not preachy, it’s not saccharine, it’s not annoyingly cheesy. It’s real—and it’s hilarious.”
