Britney Spears Responds to Son Jayden Over an Interview
Britney Spears writes a long message for her son Jayden after an interview went viral of him explaining why he and his brother did not attend her wedding.
Britney Spears posted a long message on Instagram, addressing her two sons Jayden and Sean Preston. This was after the Daily Mail picked up Jayden’s interview on ITV. In the interview, Jayden shared why he and his brother decided not to attend the wedding of their mom to Sam Asghari.
In the long post, Britney not only responded to her two sons. She also called out her ex-husband Kevin Federline over things he has been doing in front of his sons.
Britney Spears: My Love for My Children Has No Boundaries
The “Baby One More Time” singer began her post by addressing that she tried to be her best. This was despite being under a conservatorship that her dad Jamie handled for years. “I hope my kids one day understand the reasoning of my play in the water revealing myself as any woman would have been held under blankets and supervision under the conservatorship.”
She then addressed Jayden saying: “I say to my son Jayden that I send all the love in the world for you for the rest of my life! My love for my children has no boundaries and it deeply saddens me to know his outcry of saying I wasn’t up to his expectations of a mother. And maybe one day we can meet face to face and talk about it openly.”
Still hurting
In the same post, Britney did not hold back by calling out her ex-husband Kevin Federline, whom she said hasn’t had any work in 15 years.
“I completely understand your need to live with your father as I had to play the perfect role for 15 years for absolutely nothing,” she wrote.
She also sent a message to her son Sean Preston saying: “Preston…I’m aware of your gift. I know you’re a teacher in my life and dear child I’m a teacher for you as well! It’s horrible to see your dad be a hypocrite and say the media is horrible yet he has you talking about personal matters to them. I hope you can look in the mirror and remember you are my child and always will be. Preston, I send my love! I would love nothing more than to see you two face to face.”
Why Britney spoke up
Britney Spears responded after Jayden was interviewed on ITV. In the interview, he was asked why he and his brother did not attend their mom’s wedding in June.
“At the time it just wasn’t a good time to go,” Jayden said. “I’m not saying that I’m not happy for her. I’m really happy for them, but she didn’t invite the whole family, and then if it was just going to be me and Preston, I just don’t see how that situation would have ended on good terms.”
Jayden does believe that the relationship between his mom and the two of them will eventually be okay.
“It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again.”
