Through the National Healthy Skin Mission, Cetaphil partnered with Watsons to advocate healthy skin for every Filipino. National Healthy Skin Mission Academy Masterclass

Dr. Erika Akiat, who is a first-time mom herself, talked about the four pillars that contribute to the overall health and wellness of a newborn. These include healthy skin, healthy food, healthy sleep, and healthy play.
Dr. Erika discussed the importance of a bath time routine for newborns while Dr. Vanika talked about the recommended ingredients, including calendula, for newborns and their sensitive skin.
For healthy food, Dr. Erika emphasized the impact of a healthy and balanced meal for babies and toddlers while Dr. Vanika shared that there is a direct connection between the food that we eat and its effects on our skin.
Healthy sleep is also important for the development of babies and toddlers, and having a nighttime bath and skincare routine can contribute to the security of a child, therefore leading to better sleep.
Lastly, healthy play is all about using safe and age-appropriate toys for babies and toddlers and how to avoid getting hurt.
