Five Reasons to Visit Manila FAME 2026 This Weekend

Philippine design is in full bloom at the World Trade Center, and there’s still time to make it a family outing

Halloween is around the corner, the Christmas list is growing, and the weekend is wide open. Manila FAME 2026 is a good way to fill it, with a day of looking, learning, and a little shopping.

The Philippines’ premier trade show for home decor, furniture, fashion, holiday, and gift sectors is open to the public from today through Saturday, October 17, from 9 am to 7 pm at the World Trade Center Philippines in Pasay City. It’s organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM).

Here are 5 reasons to go:

Get inspired before the holidays

Pumpkins, lanterns, and Christmas trees are about to take over every shop window. Here you can see the more creative, handcrafted side of seasonal decor. Bring the whole family and let everyone pick a favorite. You may leave with a ready-made plan for your holiday tablescape.

Find fashion worth the trip

Bags, accessories, jewelry, and apparel fill the fashion sector. Go with a wish list or without one, and see what catches your eye. It’s also a good place to start your holiday gift hunt.

Meet people in your field

Buyers, designers, and small-business owners all gather here. If you run a shop or work in interiors, bring your business cards. If you’re just curious, you’ll still find good conversations.

Learn from the people who make it

The makers are often at their booths and happy to explain their craft. Ask how a piece was made, what it’s made of, and where the idea began. It’s a nice way for older kids to see that every chair, lamp, and basket started as someone’s sketch.

Support the local furniture industry

Each visit and purchase helps Filipino furniture makers and the communities that depend on them. It’s an easy way to back local craft, and a good lesson for the next generation about why it matters.

Visiting with little ones

Many pieces here are handmade and delicate, so it helps to set a simple ground rule before you walk in: eyes first, hands second. Keep young children close, and show them how to ask an exhibitor, “May I touch this?” before handling anything. Most makers appreciate the courtesy, and it turns the day into a small lesson in respect for craft.

Admission

General public walk-ins are at P500 while trade buyers and govt employees are free with valid ID. Student rates are at P250 while admission for seniors and PWDs are at P400.

Doors are open through Saturday, so there’s still time to go. Bring the family, take your time, and leave with a few ideas for the season ahead.
