The Full Trailer For Moana 2 Shows A New Adventure Ahead
Moana 2 will be shown in the US this Thanksgiving!
It’s been a busy weekend for Disney as they held the annual D23 event in California. Among the announcements include a new trailer of Moana 2 and lead voices led by Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson were present to give a peek.
In the new trailer, we see Moana spending time on the island and playing with her little sister. But she finds herself called again by the ancestors on a new mission. And who else can help Moana but Maui voiced by Johnson.
Aside from Johnson and Cravalho, Moana 2 also stars the voices of Rachel House, Temuera Morrison, and Nicole Scherzinger. Hualālai Chung, David Fane, and Rose Matafeo also lend their voices to new characters in the film.
The story of Moana
First shown in 2016, Moana is the story of a Moana, the daughter of the chief village chosen for a mission to return the heart of Te Fiti. Along the way, she embarks on an adventure with the help of her friends including Maui, voiced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Moana’s popular songs include “How Far Will I Go” which went on to be nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe. The song had become so popular even among Filipinos with celebrity mom Janella Salvador singing a version of the song.
Moana 2 is scheduled for a Thanksgiving release.
