Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are Expecting Baby Number 2!
The convent is expanding as The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder and his wife, Twilight actress Nikki Reed, are expecting their second child!
The Vampire Diaries actor Ian Somerhalder announced he and his wife, actress, and entrepreneur Nikki Reed are expecting baby number 2. On Tuesday, January 10, Ian shared a photo of his wife carrying their daughter Bodhi with the announcement on his Instagram page.
“All I’ve ever wanted from the time I was a young boy was to have a big family,” he wrote. “Thank you, Nik for giving me that gift. ROUND TWO HERE WE GO!!!!! Thank you, thank you to this incredible human for the gift of life and love, for being the most incredible mom, and for working so hard to make dreams come true!!! When I was taking this photo, I could not believe what I was seeing through that viewfinder. There’s nothing more beautiful.”
Ian also asked his followers to give some love to his wife on this new journey.
Nikki Reed: A gift this 2023
Nikki, known for playing Rosalie in the Twilight series, shared the same photo with her own announcement. “2023 celebrating life 🖤 Years of dreaming, manifesting, and praying over this very moment. So much love. What a gift.”

Ian and Nikki started dating back in 2014 and got married in 2015. They welcomed their daughter Bodhi in 2017.
Ian rose to fame for playing Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries. Prior to marrying Nikki, he dated his co-star, actress Nina Dobrev.
Nikki, who serves as CEO of her jewelry line Bayou with Love, was previously married to singer Paul McDonald.
