PBA Player Jeron Teng & Jeanine Tsoi Are Expecting Their First Baby!
Basketball star Jeron Teng revealed that he and Jeannine are expecting their first baby on Instagram!
PBA player for San Miguel Beermen Jeron Teng and Jeanine Tsoi recently collaborated on a post on Instagram that they’re expecting their first baby. In the post they made on June 2, 2024, they wrote, “And now we’re three.” The announcement came with a simple photo that appears to have been shot on a balcony with a slew of congratulations following soon after from their family and friends.
Life with the JTs
Although Jeanine Tsoi and Jeron Teng have been quiet about their family life, the PBA player revealed some snippets of his family’s life back when he and his brother played in opposing collegiate teams. In an interview with The Game, Jeron, his brother Jeric, and his mom, Susan, revealed how closely knit they were despite the intense competitive spirit from the UAAP basketball games.
“My brother and I were really close growing up, so for us to be on that big of a stage, for us to battle each other, it was a great experience not only for us but also for the family. Because at the end of the day, we’re still one family and one of us would be champions by the end of the series. So it was a win-win situation for us.”
Even more so when he signed up on the team his father, former standout Alvin Teng, once played for. It was a “blessing,” revealed Jeron in an interview with Rappler.
“I’m truly blessed to be part of San Miguel and to win one with the team that my dad played for and helped win multiple championships,” confesses Jeron. “Ever since I joined San Miguel, I’ve given my dad a lot of joy so I’m really grateful. He just always tells me to give my best for San Miguel.”
Congratulations on the new baby!
The sweet part is that it seems to be a wish come true for Susan who revealed in The Game how excited she was for her “first apo.” “Sana namang magkaanak na sila,” Susan Teng shared. “Para may apo na, first apo.”
With a new baby on the way, only Time will tell just how big a part basketball will play in Jeron and Jeanine’s life as parents. After all, it runs in their blood. Congratulations on the new baby!
