Known for their candid conversations on marriage, faith, and parenting—both online and on their podcast—the couple has never shied away from sharing the real side of raising a family in today’s world.

In a blog post dated December 12, Joyce reflected on motherhood and the beautiful chaos that comes with it.

“Motherhood changes everything. It’s not about holding on to who you were before. It’s about becoming who you’re meant to be,” she wrote. “The hardest part was letting go of my old self, but what I found was a deeper, more joyful version of me.”

She also opened up about the inner work parenting requires: “Raising kids often uncovers wounds from your own childhood. Counseling, prayer, and daily surrender to God helped me break unhealthy cycles, so I can parent my children with patience, wisdom, and grace.”
