Kris Bernal and her husband Perry Choi announced that they are pregnant in the cutest manner—through movie posters!
Kris Bernal announced that she and her husband Perry Choi are going to be parents soon. On Friday, March 3, the couple made the announcement in a series of movie posters shot by Nice Print Photo.
In the first poster When Two Become Three, Kris wrote the good news. “It happened. We weren’t really ‘trying’ but we were blessed with [a] pregnancy! I can still remember I felt a rush of different emotions when the test showed two lines. I already had suspicion weeks prior to finding out the good news but I was able to confirm it when something happened.”
For the second poster Pregnant, Kris recalled the experience of morning sickness. “I haven’t experienced anything like this before and I feel like a stranger in my own body. Is it really like this momSHEs? It’s a miracle that I was able to keep up appearances at work and with friends without anyone knowing what was going on! Good acting.”
The third poster Meet the Parents is Kris’ post for Perry. “I just want to shift the spotlight to Perry, who has been very hands-on in taking care of me. He put up with all my crazy mood swings, reminds me of the dos and don’ts of my doctor, makes sure I take my medicines on time, and the list goes on! Tama na!! Emotional ako ngayon! Naiiyak ako just thinking about it!”

The married life
Kris, who was last seen in GMA 7’s Artikulo 247, has been busy running her cosmetics line and food businesses. She and Perry tied the knot back in 2021.
Perry is an entrepreneur and was Kris’ business partner before they got together. In an Instagram post in 2022 of her business relaunch, Kris shared how she met Perry then.
“My very first business venture in 2016, Meat Kris, holds special meaning for me because without it, I never would have met the one for me,” she said.
“He helped me put up the business which was far beyond just being my supplier. He developed the winning recipe for the Meat Kris burger patty, created unique burger combos, and helped me with the overall management of the stores. Ganito niya ata ako niligawan,” she said in jest.
Congratulations to Kris and Perry and we can’t wait to meet the little one who will be arriving sometime in August!
