Lovely Abella Welcomes Her Baby Boy

New mom Lovely Abella welcomes her son with a long and raw post on her Instagram about the start of her motherhood journey.

Motherhood is a story we often try to see the beauty in, even in the most raw of photos. As she welcomes her son, celebrity mom Lovely Abella does that as she posts a photo of herself in a hospital gown while carrying her newborn son, Liam Emmanuel. Quoting, “Di ka man lang nagpaganda!!” at the start of her post, Lovely, like any mother, has shifted her priorities to ensure her son is okay.

“Sa lahat po ng hirap ng pinagdaanan ko, hindi ko na po kayang magpaganda, ang gusto ko lang ay mairaos ng healthy ang anak ko, ng mga oras na to wala akong kinapitan kundi ang Faith ko kay Lord na hindi niya kami pababayaan ang pagmamahal sakin ng Asawa ko @benj Pamilya at mga kaibigan ko at ang mga dasal ninyo,” she writes.

A tribute to parents everywhere

Almost every parent can recall the one wish they had the moment their child was born: to wish them all the good in the world. Sure, there will be bad days. Especially after trying to conceive for so long, Liam is a welcome sight to both Lovely Abella and Benj Manalo. The two had also revealed prior that they had some complications conceiving, with the comedian-now-dad revealing he had a “low sperm count” in a separate Instagram post.

The story behind Liam may be uncommon yet, it’s still as raw as it gets. Many couples who struggle to conceive dig deep for answers, from going to doctors to even questioning themselves as individuals. But things do fall into place eventually. Some will even say that things will happen when they’re supposed to. And for Lovely Abella and Benj Manalo, perhaps their son came exactly when he needed to be.
