The World FIFA Cup 2022 just gave ARMY moms a sweet-sounding treat. Jungkook’s single, Dreamer, became the official soundtrack of the international tournament. Jungkook is part of the global phenomenon, BTS, and he sang with Qatari singer Fahad Al Kubaisi. Despite it being three weeks old, the song has already broken 500,000 views in six days and currently has 1.6 million views on the FIFA World Cup’s page on TikTok. On YouTube, the song has 66 million views as of writing.

Dreamers: The second time BTS’ Jungkook has broken billboards

Jungkook’s Dreamers isn’t the only song that has broken billboards. His song, Left and Right, also achieved 1 million views on TikTok in 16 days. But as the official song of the World FIFA Cup 2022, it’s a song that can be appreciated even by those who are not really members of the ARMY. The choir in the background, the common element in FIFA Cup songs, shows that the world can unite under one language: the language of football and dreams. He makes it more obvious in the lyrics:

Gather 'round now, look at me (Hayya, hayya)
Respect the love the only way (Hayya, hayya)
If you wanna come, come with me (Hayya, hayya)
The door is open now every day (Hayya, hayya)
This one plus two, rendezvous all invited
This what we do, how we do

But how can we not play this song on repeat? It’s wholesome and empowering especially when we’re about to welcome a new year.

On Spotify, Jungkook’s Dreamers has already reached 70,992,000 plays.

BTS’s music has always lifted our spirits whenever we’re down. The wholesomeness of their music shares their advocacy as ambassadors and advocates of self-love. While the group itself may be on hiatus, the individual members have not stopped advocating the wholesome idea of learning how to self-love in order to love someone else. ARMY and Football Moms, we just found our one-song playlist!
