The Oscar winner and husband Jean Todt welcomed the year 2024 as grandparents.
Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh ushered in the New Year as a grandmother! Michelle Yeoh’s husband Jean Todt’s son Nicholas and his wife welcomed their first baby.
On January 2, the actress shared a photo of a baby’s leg on her Instagram account. “A little miracle on the first day of 2024. We are so truly blessed. Can’t tell you how happy I am for this very very special bundle of joy,” Michelle wrote.

Before welcoming her grandchild, Michelle was making history in Hollywood after becoming the first Asian actress to win the coveted Oscar statuette for her role in the film Everything Everywhere All at Once.
Aside from an Oscar, Michelle also won a Golden Globe for the film. In July, she married her longtime partner Jean Todt in Switzerland before having another wedding in Malaysia—where the actress is from.
Michelle’s latest movie The Brothers Sun is currently showing on Netflix.
