Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong Welcomes Daughter Astra
Astra is Angelia and her fiancè Aaron Kemmer’s first child
Angelia Ong has welcomed her little star. The beauty queen announced on Instagram that she and her fiancee Aaron Kemmer welcomed their daughter Astra Alexandria on March 14 in a Las Vegas, USA hospital.
“She’s born and now I’m reborn,” Angelia gushed over Astra.Our little star landed March 14,2025 welcomed by the full moon on Pi day in her own terms. Forced mommy into getting rushed in the hospital and surprised us by coming out at 8lbs 5oz.”
The caption was accompanied by a photo of Astra’s hand, showing the baby tag.
Several of Angelia’s friends sent their congratulatory messages, including Miss World 2013 and mom-to-be Megan Young.
Before Astra’s arrival
In the days leading up to Astra’s birth, Angelia has kept herself busy as she and Aaron settled into their home. In a post days before Astra’s arrival, she thanked everyone for the prayers and messages of support.
“My sweet love, Baby Astra has decided she’s not ready to come out yet on her due date. So we are waiting patiently until then. Thanks to everyone who sent their well wishes.”
“ To all my Momma friends, thank you for the tips and the words of encouragement. I feel so much better knowing I am not alone.”
She admitted that she got scared that her mom was not around for the birth but is grateful for the friends and medical team who assured she will be fine. She also thanked Aaron’s family for being there for them as they embark on their journey as parents.
Angelia also posted one of the last photos of her with a baby bump, sharing: “ Astra is showing all signs of being healthy but with your prayers, I know we’ll be able to overcome safely and smoothly.”
A Little Star Named Astra
Angelia mentioned in a previous Instagram story that one of the reasons she and Aaron named their daughter Astra was that they often referred to her as their little star.
Traveling has always been part of their lives. In an interview with Modern Parenting last year, Angelia and Aaron discussed their plans for where to settle when Astra arrives.
“We do have a couple of options in mind, but we haven’t come up with [a]final location where we’d welcome our little angel,” she said.

Astra’s arrival is a sweet reminder for Angelia and Aaron now that they are slowly embracing their new chapter as parents. While there have been challenges, including the passing of their dads, Astra breathes a new reason for them to be better people, knowing they are loved.
