Miss Universe Guatemala 2023 Winner is a Mom of Two Children
In a spectacular turn of events, Michelle Cohn, a remarkable mother of two, has seized the highly sought-after title of Miss Universe Guatemala 2023.
Miss Universe Guatemala is making history in the upcoming pageant to be held in El Salvador. They are sending a candidate, Michelle Cohn, who is not just married but also a mom of two children.
On Instagram, Michelle, who previously competed in another pageant wrote in Spanish: “Perseverance and consistent work is the key to success, thank you God my opportunity is here, and it came when it had to. THANK YOU GUATEMALA I feel your immense love. [I’m] Working since day one to prove what Guatemalan people are made of… let’s go for MORE.”
According to the information she provided on her Instagram, Michelle is a mother, model, and owner of Luca Beach Wear.
Why is Michelle making history?
Michelle is the first candidate who is a mom and will compete in the prestigious Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador. In 2022, the organization, which is now under the management of Thai businesswoman Anne Jakrajutatip, has allowed women who are single parents who those married with kids to join.
In 2018, Spain’s Angela Ponce made history by participating in the pageant as the first transwoman. Catriona Gray won that year for the Philippines.
Before Anne bought the pageant, Miss Universe was under IMG-Endeavor Management. In addition, Donald Trump was the owner before he sold it to IMG-Endeavor to run and eventually become a US president.
