Modern Parenting Celebrates Women’s Month With EmpowerHer: Conversations Reimagined
In honor of Women’s Month, Modern Parenting gathers moms and experts in their field to talk about the many changes in women’s experiences
The world is changing. Women have worked hard for it; workplaces, studies, and even cultures have begun to reexamine traditions to become more flexible to women’s experiences. But understanding those changes is a different story. During Modern Parenting’s EmpowerHer Talk at Single Origin in Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons, last March 26, 2025, moms who are experts in their field gathered to share their insights on the changes and plans for what women can do for their families and communities.
How Moms EmpowerHer
The workplace has already broken a few barriers. Moms are now joining the workforce, breastfeeding rooms being put up, and mentors are being more understanding of family duties and setups, which are just some of the many changes that have been made by women for their fellow women. Stories of these changes and how they affected them were shared by some of the speakers, such as Grab Philippines’ Booey Bonifacio, U-Go’s Arianne Kader-Cu, and Barchan Architecture’s Ar. Nikki Buensalido.
This very informative and engaging panel discussion, sponsored by Grab Philippines, really opened our audiences’ eyes to the realities that women, no matter the rank, are faced with in the work place.
But what is Women’s Month without talks of health? Soulful Feasts’ Stephanie Zubiri, Vida Yoga’s Amanda Griffin Jacob, and Centro Holistico’s Dr. Candy Drilon-Dalman shared their insights and personal journeys with modern-day moms on how to find meaning and cope with today’s stresses.

Modern Parenting dedicates these talks to all the moms out there. Whether empowered or still trying to find that power, every mom needs a companion. Both womanhood and motherhood are not journeys meant to be taken alone. Every woman leaves a story behind for the next woman to learn from.
