PHOTOS: Zia Dantes’ Magical Descendants’ 8th Birthday Bash
Internet darling and daughter of the king and queen of primetime, Zia Dantes commands and charms with her 8th birthday: Descendants!
Disney’s Descendants has a different take on its most notorious villains: what if these characters had children of their own? And during her 8th birthday celebration, Zia Dantes channels Descendant’s Mal — the daughter of Dark Fairy and Sorceress Maleficent and god of the Underworld Hades — in a royal purple ballgown by fashion designer Steph Tan! But who would the belle of the ball be without her trusty team of “fairy godparents?” With a little magic from events planner Teena Barretto and floral and stylist Teddy Manuel, her birthday became the magical experience she had always dreamed of!
A very “royal” purple birthday!
Zia Dantes has always charmed the internet with sweet and innocent interactions with her celebrity parents Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. But there’s more to this little girl as she models her custom-made Descendants-themed ball gown with a more pensive look, paying tribute to Descendants’ main character — Mal. It’s like what fashion designer Steph Tan says, “She’s nothing like the girl next door.”
The celebration even had some dancers performing several numbers from the famous Disney movie series. Zia herself also performed with some of her friends, finishing her grand birthday celebration with a multi-tiered cake.
Happy 8th Birthday To A Very Charming Zia!
The trend of birthday themes shows how kids like Zia Dantes change when it comes to their interests. While she had a rainbow and My Little Pony theme for her birthday, the choice to celebrate with the Descendants’ theme shows that she might like more abstract and complex things. After all, movies have begun to show just how multi-faceted villains and heroes are because our kids’ sense of empathy and mindfulness has grown too.
Once again, Happy Birthday Zia Dantes!
