Singer and actress Rita Daniela has given birth to a son Juan Andres last December 22.
It was a Merry Christmas for GMA 7 singer and actress Rita Daniela. On December 22, she gave birth to her son Juan Andres or Uno from her non-showbiz boyfriend.
“Hi, my son. You’re the greatest Christmas gift that God has given me. You’re such a blessing to us. Your Tatay and I are so joyful to have you. I can’t believe I’m celebrating Christmas this way—with you,” she captioned the photo of her holding her son in the hospital. The photo was shared on Christmas Eve.
Several of Rita’s friends such as Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Gabbi Garcia congratulated the new mom. They also shared they cannot wait to see Uno.
Pregnancy news
Rita first confirmed she was pregnant in June. Prior to the birth, she did a maternity shoot with Nice Print Photos.
Rita Daniela first started her career at the age of ten when she joined Popstars. She went on to become one of GMA 7’s talents and rose to fame opposite Ken Chan in shows such as My Special Tatay, One of the Baes, and Ang Dalawang Ikaw. She is also a segment host of the reality show The Clash.
As a singer, Rita’s songs include “Hanggang Ngayon,” “I’m Flying High,” and “Nandyan Ka Pa Ba.”
