Sam Milby Talks About Settling Down and Starting a Family
Prior to his engagement to Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Sam shared that he and the beauty queen had several discussions about their future together.
Last week, Sam Milby and Catriona Gray announced that they are engaged. The couple, who have been low-key about their relationship, shared photos of the engagement on their social media accounts.
Long before the engagement news, Sam was asked during the media conference for his upcoming movie with Judy Ann Santos about the possibility of settling down and starting a family with the Filipino-Australian beauty queen.
Sam Milby on settling down with Catriona: We’ve talked about it
During an interview with TV 5’s MJ Marfori, Sam shared that he and Catriona have discussed settling down and starting a family several times.
“We’ve been together for a while now and I’m turning 39 this year. And we’ve discussed that,” he said.
“I love that we’re on the same page in how we want to raise kids. But when we’re thinking kung saan, it’s very important yung safety, the education system.”
The singer and actor also added that he and Catriona have been thinking about work opportunities. During the media conference, Sam admitted that raising a family in the United States is not safe given the several incidents of mass shootings.
Moreover, he debunked reports that he and Catriona are already married contrary to what has come out on social media.
Getting ready for the movie
Sam is currently busy preparing for the movie The Diary of Mrs. Winters where he reunites with Judy Ann Santos. In the film, he is set to play the role of Victor.
The film’s shooting will officially start this February with parts of it being filmed in Canada. A date for the local and international release has yet to be announced.
The movie is directed by Rayhan Carlos who wrote the script alongside National Artist Ricky Lee.
