Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion fans are in for a treat! The two are reuniting in a concert called Dear Heart on October 27 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Sharon confirmed the news herself on her social media accounts. “Dear Heart, the Concert. MOA. October 27, 2023. Tickets will be available starting 12 noon on August 15, 2023, via SM TICKET OUTLETS NATIONWIDE or at www.smtickets.com.”
She also tagged Gabby in the post. Gabby himself shared the same announcement on his Instagram.
Some of the former couple’s friends and fans have been commenting on how excited they are to see the two back in a project. The announcement of other details is still pending.
Why is everyone excited about Sharon and Gabby’s concert?
For a long time, fans of Gabby and Sharon have been asking them to do a project together. There were several projects pitched. However, none of them materialized.
In 2018, the couple did a fast food chain commercial together and fans continue to wish for a big project for the two of them. They named the October concert after their 1981 movie of the same title.
Sharon and Gabby were married from 1984 to 1987. The couple has one daughter — KC Concepcion.
Sharon has since tied the knot with former senator Kiko Pangilinan. Meanwhile, Gabby is now with Genevieve Gonzales.
