LOOK: Sixto Dantes Channels Lapu-Lapu for Linggo ng Wika Celebration
Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ son, Sixto Dantes, celebrated this year’s Linggo ng Wika as one of the country’s famous heroes.
August is the month of Linggo ng Wika. Because of this, many kids dress up in traditional Filipino outfits. Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ son Sixto Dantes dressed up as Lapu-Lapu this year. It was a part of his school activity.
On August 26, Marian posted a photo of Sixto dressed as Lapu-Lapu with the caption, “Ako si Yapu-Yapu.“
Dingdong also shared more snaps of his son in the costume. “Si Datu Puti,” the Family Feud host captioned one set of photos on Instagram.
Dressing up for Linggo ng Wika
Last year, Marian dressed Sixto Dantes as a Katipunero. He wore a white shirt, red pants, and a bandana around his neck.
Back in 2018, Marian dressed her daughter Zia in a Filipiniana. Of course, everyone found her very cute!
Seeing children dress up during Linggo ng Wika is adorable. We can’t wait to see what Zia and Sixto Dantes will dress up as next year!
