Sylvia Sanchez: She Cannot Wait to Welcome Maine Mendoza!
Maine Mendoza’s bridal shower is proof that we can find our closest friends among our in-laws.
Navigating through the culture of our in-laws is tricky but when we finally do, it goes down like a treat. Celebrity couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde have been enjoying that with mom Sylvia Sanchez being highly supportive, especially during the bridal shower! While most brides-to-be prefer having a bridal shower with friends, Maine Mendoza spends it with family and even her soon-to-be mother-in-law, Sylvia Sanchez in attendance.
“Happy to welcome you to our big happy and crazy family!”
When we see our kids find the one, we will support them in every way we can. Especially when their partner proves that they love our kids as much as we do, we welcome them with open arms and eventually begin treating them like they are our own. Sometimes, we even offer them advice on how to deal with our kid when they misbehave as a partner. That already becomes true for celebrity mom Sylvia Sanchez as she joyfully adds in her Instagram post: “Soon!!! Mrs. Maine Mendoza Atayde ka na!”
Although we’ve seen many shows and movies where the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law are at odds with each other, Maine Mendoza and Sylvia Sanchez prove it’s possible to be close friends. Both sides share one thing in common and that’s a powerful love for the son/husband or, in this case, Arjo Atayde.
The celebrity couple also recently celebrated a big but intimate pamamanhikan where both pairs of parents learned about one another.
Maine Mendoza’s bridal shower is proof we can be close with our in-laws
It’s a struggle for us at first, especially when some beliefs contradict our upbringing. We sometimes stress over the way our partners behave around our in-laws and sometimes even hesitate to tell them about things. But when we develop the same level of comfort and trust that Sylvia Sanchez and Maine Mendoza have with one another, we now earn ourselves another set of parents who’s there to support us in building our future and maybe, our own families.
