Families Can Go Around Manila on the Hop On Hop Off Bus!
The Department of Tourism and the City of Manila formally launched the Hop On Hop Off Bus, where tourists can go around famous places in the city.
Families wanting to explore the city of Manila minus the hassle of commuting from one place to another are in for a treat. Last July 6, Tourism Secretary Cristina Frasco and Manila Mayor Honey Lacuña led the formal opening of the Hop On Hop Off Bus, which will take tourists to select spots the city is known for.
Around Manila route
According to the announcement, the Hop On Hop Off Bus will have nine stops. These stops are:
- Robinsons Manila
- Raja Sulayman
- Rizal Park
- National Museum
- Malacañang Heritage Tours
- Escolta
- Binondo
- Intramuros
The DOT said that the Hop On Hop Off or HOHO has a website and app Filipinos can download to access and visit the spots they want to stop by. The ticket price is PHP 1,000.
The HOHO is just one of the projects the Department of Tourism has launched in response to President Bongbong Marcos’ call to digitalize the country and part of Secretary Frasco’s vision in pursuing connectivity, convenience, and e(quality) for tourism.
