In God’s Perfect Time: Almira Muhlach Marries Longtime Love Erwin Lim
Almira Muhlach and Erwin Lim held their wedding in Bali, Indonesia
After nearly a decade of love and faith, actress and mom of three Almira Muhlach has officially said “I do.” She tied the knot with longtime partner Erwin Lim in a dreamy ceremony at Bali’s Ayana Resort, surrounded by close friends and family.
Almira shared photos of the big day.
“All in God’s perfect time. A promise kept, a prayer answered. Officially married the love of my life,” Almira wrote.
In another set of photos, Almira wrote: “Each step down the aisle was a whisper of ‘Thank You Lord’ for at the end stood the man I prayed for.”
Bridal Shower and Pre-Nuptial Photos
Before the wedding, Almira shared photos of a bridal shower given to her by her closest friends, which included actress Ana Roces and MTRCB chairperson Lala Sotto.

Saying Yes to the Love of Her Life
In 2023, Almira recalled how Erwin proposed to her with the help of friends.
“It took nearly a decade, but it finally happened in ‘God’s Perfect Time’,” she wrote. “While we were on vacation in Alula, Saudi and enjoying a night filled with love and laughter, I never expected this beautiful moment to happen. It was indeed the greatest surprise of my life!!!”
Before meeting Erwin, Almira was previously married to former basketball player Paul Alvarez. They have three daughters – Alyssa, a singer and actress, Illa, and Ina.
Almira’s projects include Alyas Batman En Robin, Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune, and Black Rider. Early this year, Almira appeared in Binibining Marikit as an antagonist to Herlene Budol.
As the saying goes, love is sweeter the second time around. Congratulations, Almira and Erwin!
