Angelina, Sam, and Chesca On Getting Close to Dad Cesar Montano Again
During a recent Magandang Buhay interview, daughters Angelina, Sam, and Chesca Montano share how their younger siblings helped them get close to their dad Cesar again early this year.
In the past months, we’ve been seeing Cesar Montano bond with his kids including his daughters with ex-wife Sunshine Cruz. Angelina, Sam, and Chesca Montano recently appeared on Magandang Buhay and gave details of how they got close to their dad again after their parents’ annulment.
Angelina, Chesca, and Sam: Our younger siblings paved the way
According to Angelina, they got closer to their dad once again early this year. “Usually we just text, and once in a while, send birthday greetings. Recently, we got closer and I feel that one thing that made us closer was our younger siblings,” pertaining to her father’s kids with his new partner Kath Angeles.
Sam, who turned 18 last month, said that seeing their family together was “nakakabuo siya ng puso.”
“It makes my heart really full to know that in God’s timing, indeed everything will be okay and it is okay. And it’s better than okay. Now kasi, we’re closer than ever.”
Cesar Montano and daughters: a happy family
It was early this year when the girls, their brother Diego, and Cesar shared photos of their bonding. Diego, who previously had a squabble with Cesar, has since buried the past behind them. They have been spending more time together, including birthdays and Father’s Day celebrations.
Last September, Sunshine, who seems to have also fixed the friendship between her and Cesar shared that she was happy to have met his kids with Kath.
Sam previously shared during an interview about giving second chances.
“Second chances should always be given. People can change, [you] just need to bring the goodness out of them,” she shared.
